Did you know that your car also needs a passport if you take it across the Indian border? 

It's called Carnet de Passage. To put it simply the Carnet de Passage is a passport for your car. It entitles you to enter countries by car without paying import taxes.

Since our car will be crossing international borders a number of times on our trip, today we have applied for a Carnet for our Fortuner. Now as with all bureaucratic procedures, along with the registration, insurance etc. of the car, I had to submit MY pan card, aadhar card, vaccination certificate 😏😯

Now keeping my fingers crossed
