Day 13 - Cappadocia

Day 13 Friday August 26

After a lovely breakfast of Aloo  and paneer paratha with curd, we went to see the fairy chimneys and the other natural sights of Cappadocia. These are tall, cone shaped rock formations that must have happened over millions of years due to volcanic eruptions and winds. They look quite stunning. We roamed around the area in our cars and had lunch at Pukka, an Indian restaurant.

Later we saw a whirling Dervish performance and returned to the hotel for an early night. We have to be up at 4 am tomorrow morning for the hot air balloon ride. It has been a long hot day and we had ready-to-eat pav bhaji in the room for dinner.
