Day 21 - Budapest

Day 21 Saturday September 3

Sanjay is bringing the stalled car on a flat bed truck from Serbia to Budapest. Due to the weekend, nothing could be done in Novi Sad and the chances of getting the defective car part are better here. Meanwhile Karl, Srivijay and Tomas joined us last night.

Our walking city tour began at 11 am. I think it would not do justice to comment on this beautiful place as we covered only the main city center (District V, VI, and VII). The most significant sights are Parliament, St. Stephans Basilica, Great Central Market Hall, etc. It's best to show some pictures.

While walking around, we saw signs for Punjabi samosas and could not resist the temptation. In the evening we went to Bombay restaurant and had some superb pav bhaji, bharwan aloo and hara bhara kabab.
