Day 39 - Honningsvag to Tromso

Day 39 Wednesday September 21

After spending a memorable day at Nordkapp, we are on our way from Honningsvag to Tromso. Driving a bit fast on a road in a cheerful frame of mind, two of our cars were awarded speeding tickets!!!!!

After a short tea break, we once again had a picnic lunch in the lap of nature. Celebrating Deval's birthday in this lovely setting was literally the icing on the cake.

The amazing scenery prompted us to take a photo stop on the highway which runs from Honningsvag to Oslo and which by the way is the longest one in Norway. The road upto Tromso is known as the Northern Lights highway.

We checked in Hotel Scandic Ishavshotel, Tromso at 8.30 pm and then had dinner at Indie restaurant.
