Day 41 - Leg 1 of "Endurance Test"

Day 41 Friday September 23

We are at the start of our "Endurance Test". For the next 4 days we will drive continuously without a city break and cover about 1900 kms from Tromso to Bergen.

Lunch is in a scenic spot and later we had a ferry crossing. Norway is a coastal nation, and ferries and boats are among the most important modes of transportation. We passed through more than 20 tunnels on the way.

Our first night stop on the 4 day jaunt was at Fauske. It's a lovely small town on the edge of a fjord. I wished we could have stayed for a day here.
