Day 55 - Last Day of an Epic Journey

Day 55 - Friday October 7

Today morning we drove to Felixstowe to drop the car at the cargo port for shipping it back to India. Our car was our second home and constant faithful companion throughout. For a moment I felt like letting go a part of my body as we boarded a minibus that would take us back to the hotel.

Starting in Iran with new and unknown persons, we found ourselves traveling with a group of incredible people and have come together as one big family whose binding agents have been Sanjay, Tushar, Amit, Prachur and the entire AO team who have been doing some amazing work behind the scenes. The love, affection, respect and co-operation amongst us has been the backbone of our wonderful journey.

For the entire duration of the journey, there was no stress about the business thanks to my brother Jay. I did not get or make a single call about work on the entire trip. Priti was also relaxed as Shilpa was taking care of everything at home. I deeply cherish the constant love, warmth and encouragement that we got from our family and friends while on this trip.

I am humbled by God's creation, we are truly blessed to see and explore this big, wonderful world. Among many things that I learned on this trip and I will work on myself is patience and gratitude. It's been a fantastic couple of weeks but as the saying goes, All good things must come to an end.

Our daughters have come from India and we will be together in London for one week before flying back home on the 14th.
